I just wanted to drop a quick note about Part 1 of the show you just saw or are about to see. This event is awsome, worth the trip across state. The Museum, owned by John Hendricks (who is the Founder and Chairman of Discovery Communications) is the show piece for the area, along with the beautiful scenery, and believe me it is in the midle of nowhere, Western Colorado. If you are ever planning a trip to the western part of the state, Durango, Oury, Grand Junction etc… And I think you should, this must be on you list of To Do.
Also just wanted to say that the 65 Cobra Daytona was the real deal, he raced the car for several years prior to making it a show car, It won “Best of Show” and will be proudly displayed in the Musem for 1 year starting this January.
Here's a little history on the 91 Ford Python. The car was advertised as "An Original two seater luxury convertible supercar". The company started out in Riverside, California, but shortly moved to Fort Collins, Colorado.
Unfortunately, due to financial issues, the company went under after making fewer than 20 cars. At this point in time, there are fewer than 12 left in existence. I know of two still residing here.
